Located in the renowned data center hub "INZAI,"
our suburban-type flagship data center
boasts superior robustness, flexibility, and connectivity,
attracting attention both domestically and internationally.
The Inzai area is resistant to natural disasters and offers good access from the city center, making it an ideal location for data centers.
As a countermeasure against horizontal shaking, we have adopted multiple base isolation devices, and for vertical shaking, we utilize critical damping dampers (VEM dampers) that support each floor. The combination of these measures can reduce earthquake shaking by up to 80%.
The power supply at our center employs a main and reserve line system, with two separate power lines from the substation. In the unlikely event of a power outage, the UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) will provide power for approximately 10 minutes while the backup generators start up. The UPS is designed with a block redundant configuration that boasts an MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) of 125 years, ensuring high reliability.
The private generators are installed in an N+1 configuration, allowing for continuous operation for 72 hours without refueling. We also conduct monthly test runs and annual dummy load operation tests, ensuring that power supply can be swiftly switched to the private generators in case
The server rooms provide spaces in units of over 450 square meters, and we can customize the optimal usage environment to meet your demands. Within the freeaccess area, sufficient height and power cable space are secured, and by storing network cables in a dedicated ladder above the racks, the airflow from the air conditioning can be efficiently delivered to the racks.
We implement multi-level security checks within the facility, including 24-hour manned monitoring using cameras and various sensors, personal belongings inspection with X-ray machines and metal detectors, identity verification using a combination of IC cards and biometric authentication, prevention of piggybacking into server rooms, and rack access controlled by security locks.
We adopt a water-cooled central air conditioning system designed with transport efficiency, heat load, and equipment space in mind. During the winter and intermediate seasons, the introduction of an outdoor air cooling system (free cooling) significantly reduces the power consumption of the thermal source air conditioning equipment, contributing to green IT.
