Tokai National Higher Education and Research System was established in 2020 through the integration of Gifu University and Nagoya University, becoming Japan's first national corporation under the one-corporation, multi-university framework. Gifu University promotes education aimed at training highly skilled professionals, advanced research of high-quality, and regionally rooted internationalization, utilizing its collaboration with Nagoya University in education and research. This article introduces the work of the Center of Advanced Die Engineering and Technology (G-CADET), a comprehensive manufacturing research center at Gifu University, highlighting its efforts to realize the automatic search for molding process conditions and autonomous operation by leveraging big data accumulated through optimization process.
